About Us
dignity for disability is the political party for those who believe in 'a fair go' for everyone. We are a human rights based organisation that aims at ensuring representation in Parliament for people with disabilities, in particular.

d4d is for everyone who thinks that the government's neglect of the social crisis is wrong; who is fed up with the waste of taxpayer's money; who dislikes the current 'apartheid' system and wants it reformed; and who believes that the two major parties do not truly represent the voice and interests of 'ordinary' people.
d4d is a not for profit, incorporated organisation, and has no paid staff. d4d is run completely by volunteers, who give their time and efforts freely and with great commitment. d4d will need to rely upon the support of many people who share our goals if we are to be successful.
We have a unique opportunity, which we must grasp together. With strong leadership, and by bringing the often fractured disability community together, we can bring about real change.
d4d's goal is to ensure Dignity Through Choice.
